1. What is it exactly? Mosaic is the art of creating images with small pieces of colored glass, ceramic tile, stone or other material. Small tiles (known as tesserae) are used to create a pattern or picture. Mosaics have been enjoyed and have lasted for centuries. I use the mosaic tiles above to make my mosaics.
2. Why Coastal-Mosaics? We make mosaic art from your photos and images in our studio and ship to your location. Our work is crafted from thousands of colorful tiles not tiles with a picture painted on them. We take pride in our work knowing that it's MADE IN THE USA! Our process enables the artist to work in comfort in our studio focusing on quality art. We work with interior designers, contractor, do-it-yourselfers, or somebody who just wants a beautiful wall hanging. We are very efficient on large projects so we can meet dead-lines.
3. What about installation?
We make it easy! 1. Spread adhesive. 2. Position section(s) in adhesive. 3. After drying remove tape and apply grout.
Our mosaic tile art is in 12”x 12” sections for easy installation. We use a clear tape on the top-side that allows the design to remain visible while firmly holding the individual tiles in place during installation. Simply remove the tape after drying and your ready for grout! You can also use a local tile installer as we have for years.
4. Where can they be used? Our mosaic tile art can be used as wall hangings, on floors, on back-splashes, shower and tub walls to large scale projects. They can be used in and around pools. Plan to use mosaics on your next remodeling project. Our mosaic tile art can be used on small to large scale projects. Here are some other areas: table tops, wall hangings, borders for mirrors, tile inlays, mosaic medallions, decorative tile inlays, patios, stepping stones, fountains, foyers walls, remodeling, floors, showers, tub walls, interior decorating.
5. What about durability? Our product is designed to be here for a long time .We use extremely durable glazed porcelain tile in our mosaic art. They are weather, water, and freeze proof. Mosaics have been around for centuries and these will be as well.
6. What about size? Size is important. The bigger the mural the more tiles (tesserae). The more tesserae, the more detail. 24"x24" is the minimum size if you are planning a scene or image. However patterns are fine any size. Also keep in mind that smaller mosaic murals will appear more defined at distances. Think of this when planning your project. We will give you these options through our service when working with you.
7.What is the pricing? Our procedures allow us to sell this unique art starting around $32 per square foot.
8. What about Orders? Orders are placed through this websites. We accept PayPal, ATM card, and most major credit cards. With customer approval and payment, the team will commence work and ship the completed mosaic to the customer. Please allow 7-10 days for delivery on most orders.
Shipping and handling fees are a flat rate of $17.50 anywhere in the continental U.S. Addition shipping may apply for orders outside the United States.

Refund, Returns and Cancellation Policies:
We are unable to provide refunds due to the enormous amount of work that we put into each unique piece. Cancellations will be considered depending on the current status of your project.
